WE'RE AT THE BEGINNING.

Beyond Today has been an idea for a long time. Now we're beginning the work of turning that idea into something real.

Beyond Today is a community-led social enterprise based in Luton, creating opportunities for people rebuilding after significant changes in their lives to connect, grow, try new things and think about what comes next.

We're not launching with a long list of programmes or pretending to have everything figured out.

Right now, we're building the foundations.

That means listening to people locally, developing relationships with community organisations, finding the right spaces, recruiting volunteers and beginning to shape our first activities.

WHAT ARE WE BUILDING?

Beyond Today starts from a simple belief: where you are today doesn't have to define where you go next.

We want to create something that sits alongside existing specialist support. A community where people can build confidence, find connection, develop everyday skills and explore new opportunities without being defined by what brought them there.

Our work is developing around SELF, TOGETHER, LIFE and FORWARD, but some of what Beyond Today becomes will be shaped by the people who join us.

If we're going to call ourselves community-led, we need to build with people, not decide everything first and invite them in afterwards.

WHAT COMES NEXT?

Beyond Today is based in Luton, and this is the community we're proud to call home.

Over the coming months, we'll be listening, building local relationships and creating the first opportunities for people to take part, volunteer and work with us.

We'll use Updates to share that journey as it happens, including new activities, opportunities to get involved, partnerships, milestones and what we're learning along the way.

We don't want to wait until everything looks established before we start telling the story.

This is where we're starting. We're looking forward to seeing what we can build together.
