Safeguarding
Everyone who takes part in Beyond Today has the right to feel safe, respected and listened to.
Our commitment
We take all concerns seriously, act on them promptly, and put the wishes and wellbeing of the person at the centre of any decision.
Our people
Staff and volunteers are recruited safely, briefed on safeguarding before they work with groups, and know how to escalate a concern.
Raising a concern
Speak to any facilitator at an activity, or email us marked 'Safeguarding'. Concerns can be raised anonymously.
In an emergency
If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. For urgent mental health support, call 111 and select the mental health option, or Samaritans free on 116 123.
What happens next
Our designated safeguarding lead reviews every concern, records it confidentially, and refers to adult social care or the police where needed.
